My Encounter at Graceland
One day, as my husband Jake and I were traveling to our land in Franklin, NC, which we have named Graceland, I asked my husband, “What can we start doing today, in order to set our family up for success, for up to 5 generations in the future.” Instead of just looking to tomorrow or next year, I desired to look way into the future.
We thought of a few ideas on how to become self-sustaining and abundant, like learning how to grow our own food. We also talked about continuing to buy more land, building houses, and creating new businesses. Finally, we talked about the importance of our faith and teaching our children, who will then teach their children, who will teach their children about Yahweh, his Son Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit. We agreed that in the area of faith we were already better off than our own parents.
When we arrived at Graceland, the first thing we discovered in our camper is that a mouse got into the outside compartment and made a mess of the paper towel roll that was in there. Yuck. Upon going inside our camper, we then discovered that an army of lady bugs were trapped inside. How did they get in there? There were hundreds of them trying to get out the doors and windows. More yuck. Finally, we discovered that we had no water, or electricity to our camper. What the heck was going on? Our excitement of spending the weekend at Graceland was quickly being squashed. We realized that without power or water we wouldn’t be able to stay.
First things first, we needed to find out why we had no power. So, I called the electric company and reported the outage. The lady who answered my call couldn’t hear me very well, because since we had no power to the camper, my cell phone service was very spotty. She only heard every third word that I said.
Although she couldn’t barely hear me, she did reply, “If you can hear me, we do have an outage reported on Buckeye Branch. So if that’s where you live, help is on the way.”
Hallelujah!!! That’s exactly where our land is located. As I am still on the phone call with this lady, we see a power company truck driving down our road. The truck stops, and my husband says to the two men, “You are a GODSEND!” They reply, “We will have your power back on quickly. It’s probably a squirrel.”
I’m thinking, “What’s with all these pests causing havoc. We just want a quiet weekend away from home and they are quickly ruining it.”
About 5 minutes later the power comes on, which turned on our water pump, and also our wifi. We now had electricity, flowing water, and communication. Another Hallelujah!!!
As I was standing next to the kitchen sink rejoicing, as the cool, pure and refreshing well water was running over my fingers under the faucet, Yahweh says to me,
“It is through MY supernatural POWER and LIVING WATERS flowing through you and your husband, and your boys and their wives, through MY HOLY SPIRIT that dwells inside of you, that you will leave a legacy of abundance for your future multi-generations. It is through your relationship with ME and MY SON that the pests of this world will be kept at bay.”
Thank you Yahweh!
Thank you Jesus!
Thank you Holy Spirit!
Through our family’s faith in you, and through your power and authority, and living waters IN US, we will successfully pass down generational blessings of abundance to our children and their children and their children!!!
What a beautiful inheritance Yahweh has given those who put their faith in his Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth!
“I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the RICHES of his GLORIOUS INHERITANCE in the saints…”- Ephesians 1:16-18
May Yahweh bless you and keep you,
